Collection: Fight NET Cancer with Katherine

Join Kath’s Army

In the two years since being diagnosed with stage IV neuroendocrine tumors (NETs), Katherine Mueller has made it her mission to make a positive impact on the NET community by spreading awareness and raising funds to support NET research. Proceeds from tshirt sales will be donated to the Neuroendocrine Tumor Research Foundation (NETRF) in Katherine’s name.

Why the zebra?

In the cancer world, neuroendocrine tumors (NETs) are the zebras. Represented by this analogy because of their rarity, NET symptoms are often mistaken for signs of other ailments and go undetected for quite some time. As a result, nearly 60% of all NET patients have metastases (meaning the cancer has spread to other parts of the body) by the time they are properly diagnosed. The zebra is our way of reminding doctors that the uncommon exists and should not be overlooked.
